Getting Ready for my Exciting Trip!

Hello family!
Just thought that I would let you all know that while I am in South Korea, I would try journalling on line on this blog, and post pictures about my time here.  So this entry is a dry run to see if it works.

David had thought it would be fun to go to China as a side trip.  But we had forgotten that China is a communist country, and has rather stringent rules as to who can enter and how long they can stay.   He thought we would have to fly to HongKong to get my visa, but that may not work.  I thought that maybe I could go to the embassy here, but they need to have copies of the return airline tickets, and hotel reservations.  David's visa is easier to obtain, since he has an alien registration card for Korea.

So that is a bit disappointing, but I'm sure that there will be lots to see and do, without going to some exotic place like China!

So the next time I post here, I will be doing it from the other side of the world!
